We have an exciting opportunity for a HR administrator with excellent communication and people skills.  We are going into the busy year end period with our recruitment, performance check-ins and reward and recognition. As a part of the HR team you will be exposed to various aspects of HR including recruitment and reward and recognition.  Reporting to Associate Director, Talent, Performance and Reward, we are seeking an enthusiastic team-player with strong organisational skills, a strong interest in HR processes, attention to details and time management skills.

This role is ideal for someone who is looking for a temporary role due to a working holiday visa, university holiday or wanting to start their career in HR.

The Role:  

  • Recruitment - Posting job ads on online job boards and reference checking
  • Learning & Development - working with Head of HR and Associate Director on room booking, sending out invites for training sessions, printing out training materials, setting up room on the day of training, ordering catering etc
  • Reward and Recognition - processing recognition nominations (including sending out gift vouchers to nominated employees, recording the details of recipients and sending out congratulations emails)
  • Providing support to the HR Coordinator and HR Business Partners as required
  • Other ad hoc duties as required depending on skills and experience

The Person:

To be successful you will possess the following experience, qualifications and attributes:

  • Bachelor degree or higher in HR, Business Administration or related discipline, preferred
  • 1+ years' experience in a corporate environment/administrator role, ideally on all/some of the above tasks
  • Quick learner and can-do attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional internal customer service skills
  • Enjoys working in a busy, fast paced environment with variety
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
  • Intermediate to Advanced MS Office Skills - Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and manage own time
