We are looking for an experienced and motivated Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Accounting and Business Services team, based in Melbourne. The purpose of this role is to ensure our clients' expectations and AR needs are being delivered in an efficient and timely manner. 


The successful candidate will have previous experience in a high-volume Accounts Receivable role, excellent communication skills, analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to prioritise whilst managing the workflow and be able to work well within a team.


Core responsibilities of this role include:

  • Daily processing of rental payments and receipts including payments through bank Lockboxes
  • Reconciliation of trust bank accounts daily
  • Monitoring of suspense account
  • Dealing with rental queries from tenants and property managers
  • Action email mailbox prompt invoices
  • Administration functions 


The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a high-volume Accounts Receivable role
  • Experience in the Property Industry (preferred not a must)
  • Experience in an administrative role requiring strong coordination skills
  • Strong client service focus
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise and manage workflow.
  • Proven ability to take initiative, identify issues and deliver timely solutions
  • Proficient computer skills and working knowledge of all MS Office applications
  • Knowledge of the MRI system is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Demonstrated understanding of Accounts Receivable function
