About the Role: 


We have a great opportunity for a motivated and passionate property professional to join our NSW Office Leasing team in the position of Major Projects Analyst.


This role will foster your development in the property industry, keep you abreast of the market activity and give you scope to really take ownership and make it your own.


You will provide bespoke analytical and research support to Knight Frank's leasing clients, administrative and leasing support to Knight Frank's major leasing projects.  You will also provide analytical and leasing support to the Office Leasing team regarding all aspects of the day to day operation for the team, to enable the team to successfully complete transactions.


The role will include, but is not limited to:

  • Providing bespoke financial analysis of leasing transaction scenarios (e.g. cash flow modelling, lease tail analysis) to support lease proposal recommendations
  • Providing recommendations concerning financial metrics of projects (e.g. rents, incentives, etc.)
  • Preparing promotional material, reports and presentations to prospective occupiers of project appointments
  • Drafting leasing proposals for commercial office property
  • Assisting in coordinating project leasing campaigns
  • Providing support to Knight Frank's project leasing clients with respect to bespoke research and asset/market analysis
  • Presentation of research to Knight Frank's landlord clients
  • Collection, collation and presentation of a wide range of relevant research and data to assist agents in providing leasing recommendations
  • Assisting in the preparation and presentation of submission documents and pitches for new project leasing appointments


About you:


The successful candidate will have:

  • Property Industry experience is essential 
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a complimentary or related role 
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, economics or property 
  • Knowledge of the property industry, and capacity to provide credible property market opionins & forecasts 
  • Proficient user of property specific software programs for forecasting and data bases such as Forbury, Navigator CRM
  • Advanced knowledge of computer packages e.g. Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • An understanding of valuations, financial modelling and commercial property leasing process
  • The ability to build effective relationships at all levels
  • Flexibility and the willingness to work as part of a high-performing team
  • Capable of managing a number of tasks or projects simultaneously 
  • You will be comfortable presenting to senior internal & external stakeholders 
  • A team player attitude, capable of contributing and influencing in a collaborative environment


This is a highly analytical role; you will need a good head for numbers and be able to process large amounts of data accurately.  A genuine passion for the property industry is a must, but above all you should be able to demonstrate a strong work ethic and have a desire to contribute to the success of the business.
