An exciting role has become available for a talented Assistant Property Manager in our Asset Management Services team. As an Assistant Property Manager, you will support a team of professionals who are driven to get the best results from each day.


Through a variety of administrative, reporting, finance and operational related duties; you will be the conduit to success in this fast paced and challenging role, with a focus on commercial, industrial and retail management.


The Role:

  • Support the team with all facets of general day to day administration and Property Management activities.
  • Provide administrative support; filing, scanning, lease/licence document drafting and preparation.
  • Assist with all Financial Management including accounts payable, receivable, outgoings recoveries, forecasts and budgeting.
  • Assist the property management team to ensure compliance with lease obligations, covenants and notices.
  • Manage tenancy information and ensure documentation is accurate, current and accessible.
  • Review critical dates and monthly billings to ensure invoicing is accurate and complete.
  • Assist with Monthly Report preparation including general issues, maintenance issues, upcoming works, relevant schedules and arrears recommendations.
  • Arrears Management.
  • Monitoring and follow up of any ongoing maintenance of the portfolio, assigning works and ensuring work orders are completed and actioned accordingly.
  • Conduct property inspections and attend tenant meetings with the Property Manager as required.
  • Establish, maintain and build conciliatory, pro-active open relationships with all tenants and service providers.


The Person:

  • Have at least 1 years' experience in a similar property role
  • Hold a valid and current Agents Representative Licence
  • Possess competent skills in utilising the MS Office Suite
  • Hold strong analytical skills in conjunction with high attention to detail
  • Possess strong organisation skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Be a confident communicator with a demonstrated ability to engage within a team
  • Look for opportunities to contribute, innovate and add value
  • Demonstrate initiative and a proven ability to work autonomously
  • Be able to coordinate business submissions and reports
  • Relevant Property or Finance Degree will be highly regarded
