We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Property Accountant to join our Asset Management Services team based in Sydney CBD. 

 

As an Assistant Property Accountant you will have responsibility of ensuring client and management reporting needs are satisfied in a professional and diligent manner and that accounting records are correctly maintained.  This role is a great opportunity if you are looking to establish yourself in a reputable, global organisation where you will be supported to gain the knowledge and skills to progress your property accounting career.

 

Core responsibilities of this role include:

  • Run monthly financial reporting packs on a portfolio of cash properties
  • Develop and maintain any necessary spreadsheets for off system reporting
  • Attend to daily payment authorisations and cheque payments
  • Ensure financial reports for properties under management are correctly maintained and in accordance with required legislative requirement, Knight Frank standards and client requirements
  • Input budget data, update property forecast in the system and perform any necessary reconciliations

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Degree qualification in Accounting
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Property Accounting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, including Pivot, Vlookup and Hlookup as a minimum
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to build rapport easily
  • Ability to work as part of a high performance team
  • Proven ability to take initiative, identify issues and deliver timely solutions
