The role: 

The People & Culture (P&C) team have a rare opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Consultant to provide end to end recruitment support with a national remit on a permanent part-time basis. 

Working with a supportive manager, you'll leverage your skills in relationship management with hiring managers & P&C Business Partners when recruiting for a variety of roles whilst proactively attracting & selecting the best talent. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the Associate Director, Talent Acquisition with end-to-end recruitment nationally of your own roles
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand the role and their needs
  • Draft job advertisements aligned to the position descriptions
  • Conduct initial telephone screenings with candidates to assess skills, fit & competencies for the role(s) and provide recommendations
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance our talent acquisition strategies and practices
  • Involvement in Talent Acquisition projects as well as broader projects in the People & Culture team. 

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced recruiter, someone with 2 to 5 years' experience in internal or external recruitment who must have the following:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Excellent listening skills and ability to ‘read between the lines'
  • Ability to think on your feet and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and sustain relationships
  • Strong organisational, time management and multi-tasking skills
  • A willingness to learn
  • Excellent Microsoft office suite understanding
