The role:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Corporate Finance team based in Melbourne.

The purpose of this role is to ensure our clients' expectations and AR & Lease Administration needs are being delivered in an efficient and timely manner. 

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a high-volume Accounts Receivable role, excellent communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise whilst managing the workflow and be able to work well within a team. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Daily processing of rental payments and receipts including payments through bank lockboxes
  • Reconciliation of trust bank accounts daily
  • Monitoring of suspense account
  • Dealing with rental queries from tenants and property managers
  • Perform the Lease Administration function for the portfolio including entering new leases, sundry charges, processing vacating tenants etc.
  • Facilitate any other information collection and delivery
  • Respond to client queries 

Who we are looking for?

  • Relevant experience in a high-volume Accounts Receivable role
  • Previous experience in Lease Administration (desirable)
  • MRI experience (desirable)
  • Previous property experience (desirable)
  • Demonstrated understanding of Accounts Receivables and Lease Administration functions
  • Proven ability to take initiative, identify issues and deliver timely solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
