The role: 

Knight Frank Australia are looking for a Property Accountant who is ready to step up and be part of an exciting new challenge. 

This role will provide operational accounting support to the Property Management and wider accounting services team. 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Provide assistance to the wider team in the administration of rent roll and all financial aspects of administering the Shopping Centre.
  • Provide assistance in all financial & accounting reporting and arrears management
  • Effective preparation and management of month end reporting
  • Perform database maintenance activities and ensure that property and tenant database records are maintained
  • Review of Monthly Trust Account bank reconciliations
  • Oversee daily payment runs, ensuring all payments are made as required
  • Preparation of yearly Property outgoings reconciliations, preparation of tenant reconciliations and yearly property budgets and forecasts 

Who are we looking for? 

  • 2 years' experience in Management accounting
  • Retail and Property accounting experience (preferred)
  • Degree qualification in accounting
  • Management Reporting International (MRI) experience (preferred)
  • Analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Proven ability to take initiative, demonstrates innovative and flexible approaches, identify issues, and deliver timely solutions.
  • Excellent organisational skills - ability to meet deadlines.
  • Customer service focused.
  • Motivated and enthusiastic
