The role: 

Really excited to be able to bring to market a key leadership appointment at Knight Frank Australia. We are looking for a Director, Head of Industrial Logistics based in Parramatta to lead the NSW business. 

A crucial function of the role will be the drive and generate maximum exposure and revenue for the department whilst ensuring the team are delivering goals aligned to the strategic plan. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic business plans, budgets and targets to increase the department's listings, market share and profitability
  • Lead the team in new business development
  • Carry out systematic canvassing for new business and clients
  • Review and assess assets and provide sales and leasing recommendations
  • Deliver high level of expertise to clients regarding relevant market
  • Negotiate and transact the sales and leasing of properties
  • Work co-operatively and harmoniously with other departments, particularly cross-border and with industrial occupier services.
  • Fosters strategic alliances, business partnerships and relationships to better develop Knight Frank services
  • Provide high quality financial analysis and strategic forecasting
  • Team leadership and management ensure overall department objectives are achieved
  • Develop and implement resourcing plans and specifically actively target suitable recruits to grow the team 

Who are we looking for?

  • Significant experience in commercial sales and/or Leasing
  • Proven ability to complete successful transactions with major clients and institutions
  • Proven track record in new business development
  • Professional qualifications in Property, Business or Finance
  • Agents Representative Certificate / Certificate of Registration and/or Real Estate License
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of the commercial/industrial property industry
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial property sales and leasing process and documentation
  • Understanding of valuation and commercial property sales/leasing process
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Influential communication style
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated
